Bio

Saīdeh Hātamī was born in 1978 in Sari, Iran. She spent her childhood in Talesh during which years she expressed her talent for drawing and using painting to communicate with her surroundings. However, despite the fact that she was extremely interested in art, she didn’t study it academically. In her 20’s, she immigrated to Tehran which was the main art scene of Iran. Therefore, she was able to closely experience the atmosphere of its contemporary art as a result of which she had a series of new, conducive and invigorating experiences in this field. In her artworks, she has exhibited various themes such as loneliness, Nature, instinct, and her own personal mythology from deep within her. After a number of years, Hātamī moved to the city of Sari in Northern Iran. And, she is still continuing her professional work there. - Isn’t this called a miracle? The birds are still chirping and singing. The wind is blowing. And, we are still alive.
